1. Ferrari comes from Italy and showcases beauty and luxury

The creator of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari,  was born in Modena, Italy in 1898. 2. In the beginning, Ferrari was created From Alfa Romeo’s Racing Team

At the start, the whole idea of Ferrari began from racing. It was when Enzo Ferrari, the founder of Ferrari, had established his own car company. When the ideas for Ferrari the car company were formed, the company was viewed as more of a distraction or side project for the founder Enzo Ferrari.

Before Ferrari the company was started, Enzo Ferrari was a race car driver for Alfa Romeo. It was when Enzo became a father that he changed directions with these interests.  Enzo Ferrari quit racing and driving race cars and instead got active in car racing in another completely different way.

The first team he organized was the  racing team called Scuderia Ferrari, which was Alfa Romeo’s official representation in the 1930s. When Enzo Ferarrai quit and left Alfa Romeo, in 1939, he launched his own car company called of course Ferrari.  Furthermore by 1945, Enzo had his own car company. Lastly, the first thing he did was a  road car, which had the Ferrari name  already by 1947.

3. The iconic Ferrari brand features a horse

Many may recognize and love the Ferrari logo that showcases a prancing or moving horse. The symbolism of the horse is quite intense as it features a prancing black horse on a yellow background.

The very popular Ferrari design was created and made by Francesco Baracca. He is an Italian pilot known for his skills, and he was active during World War I. The horse symbol in itself was a symbol to be displayed on the airplane he owned. Eventually, the Baracca family allowed the founder of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari, to use the design.

5. Ferrari reportedly sold the most expensive car ever at an auction

If there will be a car that is the most expensive it would have to be a luxury car like Ferrari. And indeed it was In 2018, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was sold. The Ferrari car was sold at an auction for a massive amount of  $50 million.

It has been said that there were Epic Rivalries between Ferrari and other car manufacturers. American automotive designer, Carrol Shelby was competitive. Shelby’s ambition led to a kind of rivalry with Ferrari. Overall, the rivalry stems from losing races. This Ferrari rivalry led to establishing Ford as a force in European racing in the 1960s.

However, the background of the company rivalry between Ford and Ferrari was from business of course. Why? Because Ford was planning on acquiring Ferrari in 1963. However, the business deal went bad  and this led to animosity and jealousy among Ford executives towards Ferrari. Also,  it inspired Ford to produce the LeMans 1966, which became a dominant power in the world of racing.

The rivalry of these two car companies inspired the film, ‘The Real Race in ‘Ford v Ferrari.' The movie itself centers around Henry Ford II's big goal to stop and end Ferrari's dominance at the Le Mans race. The movie was released in the USA and got an extensive release with two huge movie stars, Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

7. Ferrari is known for its customized Luxury Appeal unlike its competition

Ferrari is known for having unmatched customizability withs its features and options.  All in all, the Ferrari is known for being a top level luxury car. Moreover, the Ferrari Store offers a service that features Ferrari products including top quality articles like clothes and accessories. At the moment, Ferrari is developing to open around 40 new stores around the world over the next five to ten years.

The latest Ferrari store just opened in Barcelona, Spain. Of course Italy, the home country of Ferrari, is represented. Other Ferrari locations are Abu Dhabi, Moscow in the next year or so, and eventually followed by Singapore, Macao and Honolulu next year.
