Quincy Brown was born on June 4, 1991 in New York City to model Kim Porter and rapper Al B. Sure. He was later adopted by hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, growing up under the care of both Porter and Combs. He has 6 siblings including Christian and Jessie Combs, and siblings Quincy, D‘Lila and Jessie James Brown on his mother‘s side. His brother Quincy tragically passed away in 2006.

From childhood, Quincy was surrounded by music and showbiz. He grew up splitting time between New York City and Los Angeles. Quincy started writing his own raps and songs at a young age. He was awarded a scholarship to USC‘s prestigious business school, but decided to pursue his true passions in entertainment.
